Andrea Centazzo / Roberto Ottaviano - The Gates: live in concert

Andrea Centazzo - I met Roberto Ottaviano in 1977. He came to the first music workshops ever organized in Italy by me, near the town of Pistoia, Italy where at that time was living.
I was immediately impressed by his extraordinary musical personality and his determination to succeed.
In 1980 when I formed the Andrea Centazzo Mitteleuropa Orchestra, Roberto became a stable and featured member.
Our collaboration lasted until 1986 when we played the first and only duo concert during a summer festival.
Different choices in music ended our successful collaboration: I decided for composing and video making while Roberto became one of the greatest saxophone players and jazz teacher in Europe.

Then we self - recorded the ICTUS Album "The ECM JOB" at the ICTUS Farm in Bologna (Italy) in June 2007.
Mixed, edited and produced at ICTUS STUDIO by AC Long Beach 2007-2021 that released featured also the skilled guitar player Lutte Berg.
In 2012 we reunited for the first time in duo for recording "On a rainy day" that you can find in the ICTUS catalogue.

And finally in 2021 we started a new collaboration with concerts and recording. This is the chronicle of an exciting performance in a summer night of July 2021
