Three Lanes was formed by Melbourne based jazz pianist and composer Andrea Keller in 2010 as an opportunity to create new music with two of her most admired, intriguing and broad-minded musical colleagues, Genevieve Lacey on recorders, and Joe Talia on revox B77, electronics and percussion.

Stepping outside of her usual working environment, this trio combines acoustic, electronic, prepared, improvised and composed elements, allowing the unique and distinctive contribution of each of these three celebrated Australian musicians to be given voice, while facilitating meeting points and establishing a shared language for rewarding musical communication.
