Anna Setton is a Brazilian singer and songwriter, with a 15 years old career, working with some of the most notorious Brazilian music artists, such as Toquinho and João Bosco.

Released in November 2018, her debut album – Anna Setton - brings seven originals songs and new versions of great Brazilians standards (written by Caetano Veloso and Dorival Caymmi) and the notorious Nature Boy (eden ahbez), reborn with an unforeseen new arrangement.

The album was recorded with the most talented musicians from São Paulo jazz scene: Edu Sangirardi (piano), Bruno Migotto (bass), Vinicius Gomes (guitars), Jonatas Sansão (drums), Diego Garbin (flugelhorn), Jota P (sax). The production was directed by Swami Jr, acclaimed for his works for well-known artists such as Omara Portuondo (Cuba) and Maria Bethania (Brazil).

Anna’s music is strongly influenced by Jazz and the richness of Brazilian rhythms, such as samba, baião, choro, ijexá. Anna Setton is a surprising fresh first album that brings Anna’s memorable soft and touching voice out to its finest, providing a testament to the quality and the power of the emerging Brazilian music scene.
