Baritone saxophone great Gerry Mulligan brought his piano-less quartet with Art Farmer to the Falkoner Centret on May 21, 1959. The night's mostly Danish audience were mesmerised by their "cool" sound of West Coast Jazz. As the quartet lasted only a short period of time in the '50s, this album will stand as an important historical release. Liner notes include an interview with the quartet's bassist, Bill Crow (now aged 95).
Gerry Mulligan: baritone saxophone, piano (4 & 5 only)
Art Farmer: trumpet
Bill Crow: bass
Dave Bailey: drums
