Playing on countless country and rock albums (that's his killer riff on Elvis' "Little Sister"), he caught the attention of the president of Gibson Guitars who asked for his assistance with designing the hollow-body electric guitar known as the Byrdland. As jazz was another passion of Hank's, he wasted no time putting the new Byrdland through it's paces. Here is a collection of many of Hank's best recordings.
