2015 reissue
Digitally remastered edition of the second album by John Carter and Bobby Bradford, a rare and in-demand item from the Flying Dutchman catalog. Recorded in Los Angeles in 1970 it was a follow up to their Flight For Four and carries forward that album's take on improvisational music.
Carter and Bradford were members of a small but vociferous community of experimental jazz players based in the city which also included Horace Tap Scott. Los Angeles was not especially known for experimental music and recordings in this style were rare and mostly done by small independents.
This album was made with the full support of Flying Dutchman's owner Bob Thiele and is one of the best-known examples of an under-recorded scene.
