BITCHES BREW LIVE adds yet another dimension to the album's amazing reputation.
Its nine rare live performances comprise repertoire from the studio album and the one that preceded it, 1969's In A Silent Way. The live tracks were recorded at the Newport Jazz Festival nine months before Bitches Brew's release and four months after at the Isle of Wight Festival in front of 600,000 people.
Personnel includes Gary Bartz (alto sax, soprano sax), Chick Corea (electric piano), Keith Jarrett(organ), Dave Holland (bass), Jack DeJohnette (drums), Airto Moreira (percussion).
Newport Jazz, July 1969, the first three tracks, previously unissued.
Isle Of Wight, August 1970, the final six tracks.
