This legendary 1968 album (recorded for Chess's Cadet Concept imprint) was considered controversial upon it's release, due to producer Marshall Chess's decision to fuse Muddy's classic blues with late '60s psychedelic rock. This wildly experimental album inspired catcalls from purists, but became Muddy's biggest hit album in the '60s. The CD debut of this hotly requested classic features digital remastering, new liner notes and a photo-filled booklet.
