Rejoicing features American guitarist Pat Metheny in a classic trio line-up with Charlie Haden on bass and drummer Billy Higgin, both former members of the legendary Ornette Coleman quartet. This album may well be seen as Pat Metheny’s homage to the great saxplayer who proved to be so innovative in improvised music.
