Turning 70 and Looking Back on a long career. For this album Scott Hamilton has chosen material associated with many of the musicians he had collaborated with over the years. If he had more space, there would also be tunes for Al Cohn, Gerry Wiggins, Benny Goodman, Flip Phillips, Ed Bickert, Arnett Cobb, Zoot Sims, Benny Carter, Hank Jones, Woody Herman, Jake Hanna and many more. He is lucky to have known so many of his heroes. So many, in fact that he might need to make another album or two!
