From Tim - "There is not a lot to say about this music except that the compositions were all written in 2016 and for once there is no free improvisation. Funny that I could get to four records before I did a straight set of tunes. I challenged myself to write a little more last year, and emerged with no fewer than 366 new pieces. That’s right: one a day. This was a very interesting process and demonstrated possibilities that I hadn’t known existed. The brief recording sessions that produced this disc seemed like something in the manner of landmarks as the writing went on. Perhaps there will be others in the months to come. We’ll see".
