A smoking performance by the legendary pianist Yosuke Yamashita thanks in part to some really incredible playing Akira Sakata on alto and clarinet. There are very few who could ever hope to match the Cecil Taylor-like energy of Yamashita on the piano, but Sakata always seems to rise to the challenge and with the drums of Shota Koyama it's one incredible perfomance that was recorded at the NJF in 1979.
